Richard is an up and coming director who has worked on short films, and has been known to make a spec commercial or two for various entities. Recently, a music video he directed and produced for the band called The Good Lovelies, was featured on CBC Television.

 

Richard enjoys wearing several hats on projects, and takes pleasure in working on everything from the script itself to the final cut of the film.

He is currently seeking representation for commercial as well as music video work.

‘The Toboggan’ is a short film about a kid and his search for a little bit of happiness.   Alva is a ten year-old kid who heads to a hill near his house looking to have some fun tobogganing but instead runs into a bully.  While retreating home he is befriended by a little girl who offers to let him use her sled, the one he’s always dreamed of playing on.   In the process of having fun, he finds a new friend and a little bit of hope.  
 
This is a 35mm short film funded by the Ontario Arts Council.  The Ontario Arts Council is an agency of the Government of Ontario.
